Combining his boundless curiosity with a photographic memory, no sporting statistic is safe from his roving eye, from non-league Swedish football to his beloved darts. This proud son of Scotland is a long-time resident of Dubai, and yet his accent hasn’t waned one iota. Luckily, I’m on hand to translate!”
