NC23 Players Make Their Mark in Italy – December 2024 PRO Trials Recap

In December 2024, a select group of NC23 players took a major step forward in their football journey, traveling to Italy to train with some of the country’s most respected professional academies. As part of NC23’s ongoing mission to connect local talent with global opportunities, up to eight players across various age groups were embedded for a full week of intensive training with top-tier clubs: SPAL, Virtus Verona, and FC Lumezzane.

This unique experience gave players a rare and invaluable glimpse into the daily routines, tactical systems, and professional standards of Italian football academies. Each player trained side-by-side with academy squads, adapted to new footballing cultures, and demonstrated their ability to compete in one of the most technically demanding football environments in Europe.

These collaborations reflect the growing strength of NC23’s international network and its commitment to building real pathways for youth players in the UAE.

The Journey Continues
This December initiative marks just the beginning. With more trials, tours, and opportunities lined up in 2025, NC23 remains committed to opening doors for homegrown talent and proving that ambition, hard work, and the right guidance can take young players from Dubai to Europe — and beyond.
