Spring 2025 Recap
NC23 returned to Italy in Spring 2025, deepening our relationships and expanding opportunities for our top-performing players. This time, with seven NC23 players spending a full week embedded with the following Italian professional academies - L.R. Vicenza, U.S.D. Ospitaletto, Virtus Verona, and F.C. Lumezzane.
These immersive trial experiences are at the heart of NC23’s mission: to provide serious youth players in the UAE with access to real, competitive environments where they can train, adapt, and grow alongside their peers in Europe. Congratulations to Harry, Jake, Samir, Ondřej, Samuel, Tommaso, and Florian for their superb performances. You’ve set the tone for what’s to come — and the journey is only just beginning.
U16 Match Week – Testing Ourselves Against the Best
NC23 also brought its U16 squad to Italy for a full week of friendly matches against these very same academies. Facing off against the U16 teams of L.R. Vicenza, Virtus Verona, F.C. Lumezzane, and U.S.D. Ospitaletto, our players experienced what it means to go head-to-head with elite youth teams in one of the world’s most competitive football cultures. These matches were more than just games — they were true tests of skill, endurance, decision-making, and adaptability under pressure. The level of play pushed our squad to raise their standards and showed them where the bar is set in European academy football.
Why This Matters
Opportunities like these offer invaluable experience. Training and competing in Italy accelerates learning, sharpens awareness, and builds the confidence required to succeed at the highest levels. For NC23 players, it’s not just about exposure — it’s about understanding what it takes to grow into a complete footballer.
The continued success of these trial and match programs is a testament to NC23’s commitment to bridging the gap between UAE-based talent and the European professional game.
NC23. Built for the next level.
