has expanded its collaborations with coaches that are like-minded and passionate about the game. It is with great pleasure that we announce our new partnership with The Player in Dubai, which is comprised of former professional football players with extensive experience in the Premier League. The Player will provide NC23 with both team and goalkeeper coaches. Training sessions for goalkeepers will be incorporated twice a week into team training sessions.
The Player was founded by Sam White and Steven Taylor.
Over the course of his incredible career, Steven Taylor played over 200 matches for Newcastle United, as well as for six other clubs on four continents, totalling more than 350 professional matches. Following his playing career, Steven has focused on coaching and management in the United Arab Emirates.
Sam spent 12 years with Southampton Football Club, before accepting a role with AFC Bournemouth in their academy. Following his time in England, Sam has worked with football academies in the USA, Africa and Asia. In the UAE, Sam has coached and managed club football alongside Steven Taylor. As a performance coach, Sam has also worked with 100+ top professional footballers. Both Sam and Steven have completed their UEFA A Licence qualifications.
