It was a tough test for NC23 against a strong FC Nordsjælland side — last year’s tournament champions from Denmark. But our boys stepped up and proved they could compete at the highest level.

In the opening 35 minutes, we dominated large spells of play, controlling possession and creating chances. Unfortunately, a penalty and an own goal put us behind, despite the balance of the match being much closer than the scoreline suggests.

With more confidence and sharper decision-making in the final third, this could have been a different result. Still, the performance showed just how far this team has come and what they’re capable of against top-tier opposition.
