At the start of the 2024 season, NC23 proudly welcomed Steven Taylor — Premier League veteran and Newcastle United legend — into the club’s technical and coaching leadership team. Since then, Steven’s influence has been transformative, bringing elite-level insight and professionalism to every aspect of our training environment and player development approach.

A Career Defined by Passion, Leadership, and Loyalty

Steven Taylor’s name is synonymous with Newcastle United, where he made over 250 appearances across the Premier League, Championship, and European competitions. Known for his grit, leadership, and passion, Steven was a product of Newcastle’s academy and rose through the ranks to captain his hometown club.

Following a long playing career and a transition into coaching, Steven has brought a wealth of global football experience to NC23 — rooted in a deep belief in the power of grassroots development.
